Madeleine McGirk in Vaults

See Madeleine McGirk perform the lead role of Samantha in Vaults from 27th – 31st October at the Banshee Labrynth. The acclaimed, site-specific play by Jonathan Whiteside has been revived for audiences at this year’s Edinburgh Horror Festival.

Vaults uses the haunted surroundings of the Banshee Labrynth to eliminate the comfortable distance audiences traditionally expect when viewing theatre. The proximity to action and lack of a conventional stage space forces the audience to experience the play alongside the characters, questioning what is possible, what is real and whether there is indeed something/someone behind them.
